Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Search engine optimization is a process designed to get you more visibility in search engine results (for keywords related to your business); to increase clicks on your search results; and to even improve sales conversions on your website. (To learn more about this, visit my article "What is Search Engine Optimization?")
If you'd like these benefits for your business, I encourage you to get in touch to discuss how I can help with website optimization, written content, connections with other websites, social engagement, and even optional approaches like audio and video.
No matter what route you seek for this help, I encourage you not to look for shortcuts or overseas writers -- some of these methods once worked, but they can cause long-term damage to your business today. SEO is an ongoing investment designed to increase real traffic and real sales overtime. It doesn't give you instant gratification like ads can, but it can outpace the value of ads over time.

One-Time Work
I'm available for one-time work if you only need to have initial optimization done on your website. My rate is $150/hour.
NEED TO KNOW: Plenty of people can set these things up for less by stuffing keywords. But I'm not just experienced in SEO. I'm a writer, marketer, and businessman. I'll learn about your business and express it appropriately for its industry (quirky, educational, serious, etc.) Keep in mind, it's not just about showing up in results. It's about clicks and conversions and your overall reputation.

Ongoing Work
If you want my help achieving and maintaining search engine results, I'll talk more with you about goals and expectations and will review your website and what we can work with before I commit to anything, because I want to feel confident in the results I can provide and in your long-term view and patience with the process.
To have time to show you results, I require a minimum 6-month commitment at $500/month. This gives you a minimum of 7 hours of work each month involving whatever I deem most effective within our agreement of what I'll run for you. (Optionally $1000/month for a minimum 15 hours.) This can include running your social channels or blog, developing website content, optimizing your site, developing relationships with sites that may choose to link to you, and tracking results.
Please know that I don't use any "black hat" techniques. And again, as a professional writer and marketer, I don't just develop useless content that represents you poorly. For me, it's all about quality, which is the word of the day. (It used to be "quantity," but I never went in that direction, because I believe reputation is important, especially since things stay online.)
