Webtalk  For
Advertisers

The goal of all advertising is to reach the right person at the right time with your message. This is why social network (which builds up detailed user profiles) and search engine marketing (which reaches people the moment they have an active interest in something) are so powerful.

There's a new social network you should be aware of as an advertiser, and I'll explain why. Like other social networks, you need to sign up with a personal account in order to create a business page for advertising. And one promise of this network is that, if you build a following for your business page, you'll never have to pay to reach your followers (which is what happened on Facebook).

That said, part of the power of Webtalk is that users can create their OWN algorithm to determine what shows up in their news feed -- they can dial up or down the importance of each contact or business, so quality of content will be critical for businesses who want to consistently reach their followers without paying for advertising.
